Hi Linda:

I spoke with my client. They are comfortable with me giving a little more detail to contacts about the project.

First, they are the Biotechnology Institute (see: http://www.biotechinstitute.org/index.php). Currently they sell three resources to educators. They would like to increase their offerings to provide educators with more instructional materials from which to choose. Rather than develop materials, they want to act as a point of sales for existing products that are scientifically and pedagogically sound.

Products include any media format from texts to interactive games and from purely informational to kit-based curricula.

My job is to identify and evaluate potential products and find the individual who has the authority to create and maintain an alliance with the Biotechnology Institute for the purpose of selling instructional materials to teachers.

Who should we contact to discuss this partnership? I assume that authors do not usually handle sales and distribution of their books.

Please feel free to call or email me to discuss next steps. Note that I will be out of town on Monday and Tuesday, July 5th and 6th.
